References: We have a loyal following of non-operating participants. Dr. David Carlton, one of our most successful investors, has participated with us in programs over the last twenty years. Moreover, Dr. David Carlton is not an officer of AOCOT (Ames Oil Corporation of Texas) or AUP Inc. (American United Petroleum) and owns no stock and in no way has contractually or otherwise agreed to assume any liability or responsibility for any of the projects he has or will continue to participate in. We received another complement recently. One of our clients died in Newport Beach, California and his son said he believed in doing business the same way we did business with his father.
